On December 18th, a netizen shared the photos above on an online community site and wrote, “Lee Jun Ki is nearing his military discharge, and is going through the last stages of his training.”
The netizen continued, “This actor will be returning in two months. He seems to look more dashing and masculine than ever before.”
The photo is of Lee Jun Ki wearing his military uniform during training, and his deeply charismatic and masculine image captured the hearts of his fans.
It was encouraging for them, as they have been anxiously awaiting his comeback for nearly two years.

Lee Jun Ki enlisted in the military back on May 3rd, 2010, and is currently serving as a public relations officer at the Military of National Defense Service Support Group. Lee Jun Ki’s official date of discharge as a sergeant has been confirmed for February 16, 2012.

Lee Junki recently completed his basic military training, winning prestigious awards and showing his true dedication to the army.

On the 16th, photos as well as an interview were revealed during his trainee days that  further showed how dedicated he really is. Lee Junki said, “During the 5 weeks in rough weather and extreme testing conditions, I was able to experience real camp life with great confidence, happiness, and a feeling of fulfillment.”

He added, “I enjoyed the training camp. I expect to be changed after the two years of serving for the army.”

Lee Junki is currently focusing in a Public Relations position for the Ministry of National Defense. Furthermore, TV broadcasts as well as radio programs are scheduled to be conducted soon.

Korean girl group KARA has announced that they will be releasing their first photo book, “Je t’aime, KARA“, on February 14th. Additionally, they have revealed that they will be holding their first Japanese tour, “KARASIA“, starting this spring.
Shot in Paris, France, “Je t’aime, Kara” features photos of the girls with a relaxed look as they leave behind their busy lives in Korea and Japan. It will also come with a DVD containing making-of footage and a slide show.
Meanwhile, for their first Japanese tour, KARA will hold two performances each in 5 cities including Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.

According to JYJ member Jaejoong‘s fan site PrinceJJ.com, JYJ’s international fans teamed up with the fan site to donate nearly $9,000 to the Mango Tree project.
Prince JJ reported, “Today, we received email from World Vision that expressed their thanks to fans and also provided the document certifying their receival of JYJ’s International Fans’ donation of 10 million won (approximately $9,000). This would not have been possible without the support and participation from fans who opened their hearts to the cause and also lent their trust to us. PrinceJJ is very humbly grateful that you’ve entrusted us to organize this donation drive.”
‘Mango Tree’ is a charity project that seeks to plant mango trees as a sign of hope for children in Sudan.
It’s heartwarming to see that fans are continuing to do good in the names of their favorite K-pop bands. JYJ must be proud!
